This office devotes the majority of its practice to white collar and general criminal litigation. Although representative clients will not be listed for reasons of privacy and confidentiality, the practice encompasses common misdemeanor matters such as driving under the influence and shoplifting as well as complex felony fraud cases affecting clients in professions ranging from real estate partnerships to medical practice.

This office has considerable experience in handling cases which draw publicity and has constantly worked at developing positive relationships with the news media while protecting the rights of our clients. Examples of high profile cases handled by this office are the so-called "Cotton Club Murder" the "Ninja Murders," the Korean Christian exorcism murder prosecution, and a highly publicized case in which a San Fernando Valley teenager was acquitted of murder in the killing of his mother following many years of child abuse. Most of these cases involved complex cultural or psychiatric defenses.

As the mobility of our peoples has grown so has the practice of this office in the area of extradition.  We have represented clients in federal courts on international extradition matters as well as in state courts on matters involving interstate demands for  extradition.  We have been successful in assisting clients who have been tried "in absentia" by the courts of other countries whose due process protections are lower than those found in the United States.

The firm is "AV rated" by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the highest rating a law firm can receive and is based on ethics and legal ability.
